112 HR 2514 IH: Academic Partnerships Lead Us to Success Act
Introduced July 13, 2011
The “A Plus Act” will allow states to use funds from programs to advance the education priorities of the state. This will free states from federal over-regulation in the area of education policy and reduce the national “one size fits all” approach. The “A Plus Act” will begin to restore to states the flexibility to cater to the needs of their individual students and let them plan their own education policy that is best for their students. HSLDA believes that limiting federal control of education and empowering parents and local governments is the key to education success.
